After months of hard work and the most comprehensive consultation exercise we have ever run, we are delighted to have launched our new five-year strategy!
At the heart of the strategy are the voices and opinions of brain injury survivors, families and carers as we look to strengthen their voices as well as the support services we provide.
Our animated video below explains more about Headway and the five-year strategy.
Luke Griggs, Chief Executive of Headway - the brain injury association, said:
“This is an exciting time for Headway as we look to continue our work to modernise and evolve the charity.
“It’s also a very challenging time for many of the independent local charities and volunteer-led branches that we support. Their needs will be prioritised in this strategy as we look to work together to find solutions to many of the challenges facing local service providers.
“We will also be aiming to increase awareness and understanding of brain injury, introducing new and more accessible forms of support, and driving research to strengthen the case for brain injury rehabilitation and support services to be sustainably funded and available to all who need them.
“Collaboration will be key to making this strategy a success and we very much look forward to working with others who share our aim of improving life after brain injury.”
