When is Hats for Headway?

Get your hats ready for Friday, 16 May 2025!

Every year, our supporters come together for hat-tastic fundraising day to help us improve life after brain injury. Every hat equals more funding towards our vital support for those affected by brain injury, and we would like to thank everybody who took part this year.

What is Hats for Headway?

Hats for Headway is a fun and engaging annual fundraiser - held as part of Action for Brain Injury Week - designed to raise awareness and funds for people affected by brain injury.

During this campaign, we encourage you to donate to wear a hat, take photos, and share them on social media, using the hashtag #HatsForHeadway to show your support.

We love to see participants get creative with their hats, ranging from funny and quirky to stylish and elegant!

Get involved and invite your team to host a collection or simply join in with the Hats for Headway community online. Help us to raise awareness about the challenges that people with brain injuries face, and help us to raise vital donations to support our work improving life after brain injury.

Competition terms and conditions
The winners will be chosen by Headway - the brain injury association
Participating photographs must be shared on social media using #HatsForHeadway
People without social media can submit their photos by email to website@headway.org.uk
Closing date of entries is Tuesday, 20 May 2025, 12 noon.
Winners will be notified by Friday, 30 May 2025
Winners will be required to provide a full name, postal address and contact details to be eligible to receive their prize. These details will be used for no other purpose than this prize draw
The competition is open to UK residents aged 18 or over
Entries from employees or family members of Headway - the brain injury association (Headway UK) will not be accepted
Headway - the brain injury association reserves the right to amend, alter or terminate this promotion at any time due to circumstances beyond its control
Headway - the brain injury association reserves the right to withhold the prize in the event of non-compliance with these terms and conditions or if the promoter deems, in its absolute discretion, that there has been any malpractice.

My daughter helped me, my grandchildren call me Mr. Bump because I am accident prone.
