The official ballot for the TCS London Marathon 2026 is open! Mark your calendars—entries open on Friday, 25th April, and close on Friday, 2nd May 2025. Winners are selected completely at random, giving everyone an equal chance to land a coveted spot—it's all down to luck! Here’s the link to the official ballot page.

If you secure a place, we'd be thrilled to have you run in support of Headway. Since ballot places aren’t tied to a fundraising target like charity places are, there’s no pressure—just the opportunity to join us in making a difference for those affected by brain injury. Charity places

If you are not successful in the ballot, register your interest for a charity place in the London Marathon and make a difference for those affected by brain injury.

In return for your miles, we'll send you everything that you need to ensure a great marathon experience, before, during and after the event, including:

  • A personalised Headway running vest
  • A fundraising pack with useful hints and tips
  • Ongoing support from our dedicated fundraising team
  • Team support through an exclusive Team Headway Facebook group and a virtual pre-race event
  • A Headway cheering station en-route
