NICE Head Injury Quality Standard

Sun 26 Jan 2014

The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) is developing a Quality Standard on Head Injury. A Quality Standard is a concise set of statements designed to drive and measure priority quality improvements within a particular area of care.

The Head Injury Quality Standard will include treatment in the early stages after a head injury, as covered by NICE's Head Injury guidelines, but also include the service received during the rehabilitation stage.

Headway has responded to the initial engagement exercise and the main development consultation. You can download our response in the related resources section.
