Wed 14 Feb 2018

Home Care Preferred has committed to an exciting year of fundraising after taking up Headway’s Challenge Baton.

The team at Home Care Preferred, who provide care services for people living with the effects brain injury, are hoping for lots of laughs when they kick off their baton challenge year with a special comedy night - featuring Mark Dolan,  the presenter of the Channel 4 comedy show Balls of Steel.

They will also take part in a sponsored walk, as well as abseil the Orbit in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park – the UK’s highest freefall abseil.

Ken Waterhouse, Managing Director at Home Care Preferred, said: “During our work at Home Care Preferred we see first-hand how Headway changes the lives of people living with brain injury.

“We are all very excited about providing support to them during our baton year and beyond.”

Jo Plant, Director of Fundraising, said: “Home Care Preferred’s passion for supporting people with brain injury makes this a well suited partnership.

“It’s great to hear they have taken up the challenge and we look forward to supporting their team as they embark on a year of fundraising.”
