Radio 4 interviews mother helped by Emergency Fund

Parent Lisa Barnard has been speaking to BBC Radio 4’s You and Yours programme about the help Headway’s Emergency Fund gave her after her son was knocked down by a car.

Lisa was being charged hundreds of pounds in car parking fees while she visited her 16-year-old son, Zak, in hospital in 2016.

She was on the BBC show to give her backing to the campaign calling for an end to unfair car parking charges at hospitals.
