Revised resources on carbon monoxide and hypoxic brain injury

Thu 24 May 2018

Headway is pleased to announce the relaunch of two newly revised factsheets, Carbon monoxide poisoning and Hypoxic brain injury.

The factsheets offer information and guidance on brain injuries that occur when there has been a deprivation of oxygen to the brain. Both factsheets have been co-authored by Dr Steven White, Consultant Neurophysiologist.

The relaunch of both factsheets coincides with the Government’s welcomed decision to carry out a review of the regulation around carbon monoxide protection and safety.

We hope that these two factsheets will help to inform people with concerns, queries or experiences of carbon monoxide poisoning or hypoxic brain injury.

You can download them now in the related resources section below, or through the Information Library.

We would also like to thank Kingsley Napley for their sponsorship of the factsheet Hypoxic brain injury.
