Many fundraising events in the UK have been postponed and cancelled due to the Covid-19 pandemic leaving many charities, including Headway, struggling to maintain their vital services.
Headway, along with our friends across the charity sector, needs your support now more than ever.
It’s time for us all to come together on Sunday April 26 to help save the charities we know and love.
How do I get involved?
We’re asking you to take part in an activity of your choice based around the numbers 2.6 or 26 and fundraise or donate to support Headway.
You could bake (and eat) 26 cakes, do 26 minutes of yoga in your living room, or run 2.6 miles in your garden.
There are no rules – apart from the Government guidelines on how to exercise safely during this time. The main thing is to get active, have fun, pledge whatever you can to help charities like Headway.
I’m in! What do I do next?
1. Dream up your 2.6 challenge – if you need help there are lots of ideas on the campaign website
2. Click here to set up a fundraising page or donate £26 – or whatever you can afford – to Headway- the brain injury association
3. Ask all your friends and family to sponsor you, and challenge them to do their own 2.6 Challenge
4. Complete your challenge
5. Share a photo or video of your challenge on social media with #TwoPointSixChallenge, and don't forget to tag Headway!
We hope you’ll join the nation in The 2.6 Challenge to support Headway and help to save the UK’s charities.
Need inspiration? We've got you covered...
Get even more ideas on the 2.6 Challenge website!
On behalf of all of those who we support, and will be able to continue to support because of your help...
Thank you.
