The five-a-side tournament, which featured a total of 21 teams on the day, raised £15,000 for Headway – the brain injury association.
Teams included five Aldermore and MotoNovo Finance teams. The winning side, Portman Asset Finance Ltd took home the Adam Massen Cup, named in memory of Adam Massen, a member of Aldermore’s asset finance team who tragically died from a brain injury in 2014.
Mark Hateley made 32 appearances for the England national team from 1984 to 1992, scoring nine goals. He was a member of the squads for the 1986 FIFA World Cup and UEFA Euro 1988.
Amber Perry, Corporate Partnerships Manager at Headway - the brain injury association, said: “We are really grateful to Aldermore for sponsoring this event for the sixth year. Aldermore’s ongoing support has led to its continued success."
Lee Rhodes, commercial director of asset finance at Aldermore, said “It’s great to see so many members of the industry playing their part for such a good cause. Headway has done some fantastic work supporting brain injury victims over the last forty-three years and their cause is one that we are particularly close to.
”Amber concluded: “A special thank you should also go to Mark Hateley for coming to support us. The donations raised from the event will ensure more brain injury survivors and their families have access to the vital support they need.”
Congratulations to winners Portman Asset Finance Ltd!
