With media reports suggesting that the latest news on Michael Schumacher's condition is 'not good', the thoughts of everyone associated with Headway return to his family and friends.

Schumacher's former boss at Ferrari, Luca di Montezemolo, said after visiting the former Formula 1 star: "I have news and unfortunately it is not good."

Peter McCabe, Chief Executive of Headway, said: "At Headway, we know how difficult it can be for families to sit by the bedside of a loved one, hoping they can defy doctors' expectations and make meaningful recoveries from prolonged disorders of consciousness.

"Being in the public spotlight, with media speculation rife, must only serve to add greater pressure on the Schumacher family.

"Our thoughts go out to them all."
