Marc Almond sings Headway's praises

Mon 21 Nov 2016

In this excellent interview from Made With Pride TV, Soft Cell singer Marc Almond discusses his brain injury and the reasons behind his support for Headway, ahead of a performance at the charity's WonderLAN Ball in November 2016.

Marc sustained a brain injury in a motorcycle accident in 2004. As he regained consciousness from a 2-week coma, he struggled with a number of effects including memory problems and changes to his behaviour and personality. Marc had to relearn to sing, and still struggles to remember song lyrics.

Despite this, Marc, who is currently on tour promoting his new album, took to the stage with an amazing performance at Headway's WonderLAN Ball this year, helping the charity to raise money to help improve life after brain injury and thrilling the 300-strong crowd.

We'd like to send a big thank you to Marc for your amazing support!
