The former Spur’s midfielder, who joined Hull City last August, suffered a fractured skull while playing for the Tigers at Chelsea on 22 January.
As a show of his former club’s support and feelings towards the popular former academy graduate, the squad wore warm-up t-shirts on the pitch at White Hart Lane prior to their FA Cup fourth round victory against Wycombe Wanderers on 28 January.
The shirts feature 'Get well soon Ryan' messaging on the front and 'Mason 8' on the reverse - a reference to the midfielder's most recent squad number with Spurs.
At Ryan’s request, all proceeds raised from the auction will be donated to Headway. The charity has been in regular contact with Hull City, offering its full support to Ryan and his family.
Peter McCabe, Chief Executive of Headway, said: “This is a very generous and thoughtful gesture by Ryan, his family and Tottenham Hotspur.
“All the money raised will help us continue support those affected by brain injury.”
- The specially-commissioned t-shirts are available to bid for on eBay now.
